BUILDER

I lead at the interface of vision and execution — constructing purpose-driven enterprises, platforms and communities that thrive in emerging and frontier markets. I take bold ideas that can have a profound impact. A lot of my work is at the intersection of industrial innovation, advanced manufacturing, and entrepreneurship empowerment. I’ve always believed that building isn’t just about products or companies, it’s about creating ecosystems that endure.

My leadership experience spans both domestic roles within the U.S. and international positions, primarily in Fortune 500 firms across various industries including pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, consumer goods, and consulting. These roles have involved responsibilities such as financial planning and analysis, supporting manufacturing and plant operations, and evaluating risks and resilience within value and supply chains. Furthermore, I have worked at multilateral organizations like the World Bank Group, the European Commission, and the African Development Bank (AfDB), where I have implemented programs aimed at enhancing the investment climate, promoting financial inclusion, and fostering economic growth in developing economies.

CONNECTOR

Whether it’s creating an ecosystem to inspire future innovators to solve African challenges (via Maker Faire Africa), linking diaspora agribusiness knowledge to support food security (via DAIN Network), or inspiring African youth to use automation and robotics to solve local challenges (via Afrobotics) – my role is to reduce friction, elevate trust, amplify impact, and inspire future leaders of tomorrow.

I have experience working across more than 10+ African markets, as well as in Southeast Asia and the Caribbean, where I have advised senior leaders by offering strategic guidance aimed at enhancing investment climate, enhancing diaspora engagement, and advancing science and technology ecosystems to drive economic growth.

CHANGEMAKER

I have held roles as a Senior Fellow and Nonresident Fellow at prominent think tanks including the Atlantic Council, the Center for Global Development (CGD), and New America. My work centers on elevating the voices of emerging and frontier markets in global conversations about digital transformation, advanced manufacturing, and industrial sovereignty. As a recognized thought leader, I contribute analysis and insights to platforms such as Project Syndicate and the World Economic Forum, where I challenge traditional development models and promote the reinforcement of indigenous science and innovation systems to address regional challenges. My expertise is often called upon for presentations and panels at international forums focused on these vital topics.

I often facilitate and participate in discussions with leaders from the World Bank Group, the European Commission, and other major institutions, promoting economic development, financial inclusion, and science and technology that include and uplift everyone. Whether speaking at global conferences or engaging in confidential policy discussions, my emphasis has been on ensuring impact go hand in hand with human development.

For me, being a changemaker isn’t about titles — it’s about traction. It’s about building new pathways for collaboration, rewriting narratives about what emerging economies can achieve, and inspiring the next generation to think bigger and build bolder.
